Install macOS on PC: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Prepare Your Hard Drive

Then, give a name to the drive (e.g., 'macOS Mojave Disk') and choose 'Extended (Journaled)' and 'GUID Partition' from the respective dropdowns.

Step 2: Create a Bootable USB Drive

Next, you'll need to create a bootable USB drive with the macOS Mojave installer. To do this, download the compressed EFI folder and extract the CLOVER and BOOT folders to the USB thumb drive's EFI partition. Delete everything inside the partition except for the CLOVER and BOOT folders.

Step 3: Boot from the USB Drive

To boot from the USB drive, restart your PC and immediately start pressing the BIOS key (usually F2). This will bring up the boot options list. Select your thumb drive containing macOS Mojave Installer as the boot drive using the arrow keys and hit Enter.

Step 4: Install macOS Mojave

Once you're booted from the USB drive, select the disk that says 'Boot macOS Install from Install macOS Mojave' to start the installation process. You'll see a Clover bootloader screen where you can select your thumb drive containing the macOS Mojave Installer as the boot drive.

Step 5: Complete the Installation

After selecting your thumb drive, you'll be prompted to agree to the terms and conditions. If everything is good, you'll see the installation window.
